LEGAL INFORMATION (Please Read)

This protection coverage includes the cost of the labor and materials necessary to repair and/or replace your residential sewer and/or water line should a problem surface due to damage from normal wear and tear of either line. Keystone will provide basic site restoration to the ground areas disturbed outside your home which will be limited to backfilling, raking and reseeding.

This protection coverage includes up to $6,000 for a residential sewer line and up to $6,000 for a residential water line.

This protection coverage applies to the customer responsible portion of the sewer and water line which begins at your foundation and ends at the public right of way.

This protection coverage provides you with the peice of mind to have trained professionals assess and correct the problem if applicable.

This protection coverage is not transferable to a new owner of a covered property and applies only to the address registered.

This protection coverage does not cover:

A. A residential sewer line that is not connected to a public or municipal sewer system;

B. A residential sewer line that is connected to a septic tank, leach field, or septic system;

C. A residential sewer line that is connected to a basement drain or storm drain feed problem;

D. A residential sewer line problem that was incurred or existed prior to the program commencement date.

E. A residential sewer line problem that was caused by the action of, permission to act, or negligence of the customer or third party;

F. A residential sewer line problem that was caused by natural disaster, acts of nature, acts of God;

This protection coverage also does not cover:

G. Grinder pumps, lift stations, ejector pumps, etc. that may be connected to the customer's residential sewer line;

H. The portion of the customer-owned residential line located inside or under the home;

I. Damage to the inside of the home due tobackup or breakage of a sewer or water line;

J. Replacement of sidewalks/driveways;

K. Commercial property or properties;

L. Relocation of sewe and/or water line;

M. Incidental or consequential damages incurred due to delay or conditions beyond the control of Keystone.

This protection coverage can be cancelled at any time by the customer by calling 1-877-53-WATER or by mailing a cancellation request to Keystone at PO Box B, Dunmore PA 18512. The cancellation will be effective upon receipt of the request.

This protection coverage is subject to cancellation, and/or change in Keystone's sole discretion, including the fee and/or program terms and conditions upon a 30 day written notice to the customer. Keystone also reserves the right to transfer and/or assign the customers plan.

This protection coverage begins 30 days from your enrollment date which will be the date upon which payment is received by Keystone. Coverage will be suspended in cases of non-payment until the account is brought current.

NOTE: ANY SUBSEQUENT CALL TO A PREVIOUSLY WORKED-ON LINE THAT OCCURS WITHIN 45 DAYS OF A PRIOR COVERED SERVICE CALL WILL BE ATTRIBUTED TO THE PRIOR SERVICE CALL AND LIMITED TO THE REMIANG COVERAGE AVAILABLE FROM THE $6,000 PER OCCURRENCE LIMIT.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT CHOICE OF LAW: THIS AGREEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ENTIRE AGREEMENT BY THE PARTIES, MOREOVER, BOTH PARTIES ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THIS AGREEMENT SHALL BE GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF PENNSYLVANIA.

NOTE: LIMITED WARRANTY: SUBJECT TO THE TERMS AND CONDIDTIONS STATED IN THIS CONTRACT, KEYSTONE WARRANTS THAT WE WILL PAY THE COSTS TO CLEAR OR REPAIR A BLOCKAGE OF YOUR CUSTOMER-OWNED RESIDENTIAL SEWER LINE COVERED UNDER THE PROGRAM WHICH BECOMES BLOCKED AS A RESULT OF NORMAL WEAR AND USAGE. THIS WARRANTY APPLIES ONLY TO COVERED SERVICES AND IS SUBJECT TO LIMITS ON THE AMOUNT WE WILL PAY AS DESCRIBED IN THIS CONTRACT. WE MAKE NO OTHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR GUARANTEES OF ANY KIND; AND ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR GUARANTEES ARE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED.

THIS SEWER LINE PROTECTION PROGRAM IS NOT AN INSURANCE CONTRACT OR POLICY. IT IS AN AGREEMENT THAT PROVIDES FOR THE REPAIR OF LEAKS TO YOUR CUSTOMER-OWNED RESIDENTIAL SEWER LINE DUE TO NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR. THIS AGREEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ENTIRE AGREEMENT BETWEEN KEYSTONE SEWER & WATER LINE PROTECTION AND YOU AND IT EXPRESSLY AGREED THAT THERE ARE NO OTHER PROMISES OR CONDITIONS IN ANY OTHER AGREEMNET.
